POLA KONSUMSI DAN KADAR GLUKOSA DARAH PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELLITUS DENGAN KOMPLIKASI HIPERTENSI DI KLINIK Dr.VITIS GROGOL
Abstract
Countries that have low incomes can be a factor in the emergence of non-communicable diseases. One of the diseases that often occurs is Diabetes Mellitus which can also cause several complications. Impaired insulin function (insulin resistance) causes metabolic disease, namely Diabetes Mellitus. Controlling normal blood sugar levels requires good and correct Diabetes Mellitus dietary management. Consuming sweet, salty, and fatty foods as well as carbohydrates, sugar, and sugary foods, drinks are high in risk of developing Diabetes Mellitus. This study uses an exploratory method and uses the type of observational research. The design in this study is to use an analytical design. The population used in this study were outpatients. The criteria for sampling by purposive sampling and the size of the sample was determined from patients who were actively controlled, not using insulin therapy, and pre-elderly age, namely 45-55 years at Dr. Clinic. Vitis. The patient's consumption pattern is not balanced, the type of food consumed is not right and the patient's eating frequency is still not right. There was only 1 patient with normal blood glucose levels. An Overview of Consumption Patterns and Blood Glucose Levels In Patients With Diabetes Mellitus With Complications Of Hypertension At Dr.Vitis Grogol Clinic. Diabetes Mellitus diet management is the regulation of consumption patterns using the recommended 3J (Amount, Type, Schedule) principle, so as to minimize the level of blood glucose levels in the body.
